Description

Shooters World Match Rifle D073-06 Smokeless Gun Powder

Buy Shooters World Match Rifle D073-06. his propellant is a bulk form of Lovex D073.6 reloading propellant. It is similar in burn speed to Accurate 2520. It holds the broadest utility across all moderate rifle propellants. The propellant gas generation rate is appropriate for cartridges of the light to heavy sectional density .223 Remington and .308 Winchester.

It can load the 55 grain .223 REM, as well as the 77 grain .223 REM. It loads the 150, 168 and 175 grain .308 Winchester, and loads all .30-30 combinations. It works in .30-06, in 7mm-08, and even in the .22-250. It does contain a level of flash suppression, incorporated into the propellant. A spherical propellant, it meters through charge plates consistently and will work in a high-speed loader with very good flow.

I read SW’s literature on this and bought it when I could not find AA2520. The 8# lot I am using is considerably weaker than AA2520, and is only useful now as a bulk load for lighter 223. In my 16″ 223 Wylde, 25.0 AA2520 and a 75 Hornady Match got me to 2720 FPS. With 25.2 Match Rifle, I was only at 2590.

Start low and work up…but it is very close to RL15. It is now my go to powder for 6.5 Grendel**( 120-123 gr). 2500fps +…. and looking to take over .204 Ruger loads with 39gr. Speers. I use it in 7-08, 308, 6.5 Creed and is in my top 2 in my AR15 Wylde 77gr and wifeys AR with 69’s. VERY versatile but max pressure will sneak up on you…go slow and watch your brass/primers. For the MONEY, it gets 5 Stars and it exceeds RL15 (and all others tested by me) in my Grendel…but RL15 wins out in 7-08. I must note ** I have not tried 2000-MR..seems to be one to try in Grendel.. MATCH is well worth having on your bench

I only reload, this combined with cci 400 primers is the bees knees. I have shot a total of 6 different powders and this has nothing but perfect performance for me. My latest group out of a 16 inch 5.56 1:8 balistic advantage Hansen barrel averaged. .332 @ 100 yards with 55g boat tail projectiles.

I use this powder for 30-30, and 308. I find it performs well. According to Shooter’s World data, this powder is similar to Hodgdon’s CFE 223. There are more applications for this powder than is shown in the Shooter’s World load data book. It is made by Lovex, in the Czech Republic. The Lovex load data book has a much larger range of Caliber’s

This powder meters great! I went with the suggestions for my Car and and it shoots like a dream. Clean up was also easy. I didn’t experience a lot of fowling. This stuff is a keeper.

This the first time I have used this powder but it has proven to be one that I will continue to use. It is very similar to Accurate 2520 – not an exact match but very close and for some uses, slightly better. Like most spherical powders it meters well in a powder measure. It shoots cleaner than some ball powders. With it’s lower cost and wide versatility it will always have a place in my reloading stores.

Reloading Experience: Started in Fall 2020. This was my first ‘match’ powder experience. WOW!! I usually use standard powder but decided to try a match loading and this was worth a try. I am glad I tried it out and continue to do so for my .308 using 175 grain Sierra Match King and .223 77 grain Sierra Match Kings…both with Hornady brass. It meters well through a Lee Perfect Powder Measure and RCBS Powder Trickler. The powder does not get stuck along a Lyman brass scale pan, plastic Lee funnel or Satern aluminum funnel. I like working with this powder. I have 2 videos with load testing for my .308 match loads.
