Alliant Unique Smokeless Gun Powder
Alliant Unique Smokeless Gun. Every container of Alliant Smokeless Powder is backed by a century of manufacturing experience and the most exacting quality control procedures in the industry. Chemical composition, grain shape and size, and overall density are constantly checked and tested in a ballistics lab to ensure consistency.
Created as an “all-around” shotshell powder, Alliant’s Unique powder is clean burning, versatile and can be used with most hulls, primers and shotshell wads. Unique is also a preferred powder for loading most popular handgun cartridges as well.

Unique works great in my 38 special. I haven’t tried it in my 9mm yet but i’m sure it will perform well.

This is my standard go-to powder for my non-Magnum handgun loads. It is my fallback if Alliant 2400 is not available, but the resulting loads are more “mid-range” than I can get with 2400. If I had to choose 1 powder for all of my smokeless applications, it would be Unique.

I love Unique for cast bullet small game loads in 32 S&W Long. It meters a bit rough, so I prefer to dip and trickle it, but the results are great. I use it in a 16″ barreled lever action carbine with 100gr cast bullets. The velocity chronographs right around 1050fps, which makes it very quiet, but extremely effective on small game at short, brushy woods ranges. Attached is a 30 yard group, shot with iron sights
